North Carolina Real Estate License
You must be at least 18 years of age as well successfully complete 67 hours of education approved by the state. Once that is completed you can take your state exam and receive a passing score.
Broker License in North Carolina
For the brokers license you must pass 60 hours of approved real estate courses within a 3 year period preceding your license application. You must provide proof that you possess competency, honesty, truthfulness and integrity. You will also be required to take have a criminal record report taken about you and you will need to get fingerprints.
For continuing education you need to complete 8 hours every year. Four of the hours must include the mandatory update course provided by the North Carolina Real Estate commission.
