Kentucky Real Estate Salesperson License
If you would like to obtain your Kentucky real estate license you need to complete a few things to qualify. You must first be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. You will need to complete 6 semester credit hours in real estate courses from an accredited college or university or complete 96 hours of classroom hours in real estate courses. Real Estate Broker’s License
For brokers you must also be 18 years of age or older and be actively engaged in real estate and real estate sales for at least 20 hours per week for a 2 year period. You will have completed 21 credit hours with at least 12 in real estate from an accredited college or university or 336 classroom hours in real estate. The passing score on the state exam is 75%.
To renew your license the CE calendar year is from January 1-December 31. You’ll need 6 hours of CE every calendar year. 3 hours must be approved in real estate law topics.
