To receive your Hawaii salesperson license you must be 18 years of age or higher and possess a reputation for honest, truthfulness, financial integrity and fair dealing. You must complete an approved 45 hour pre-license course and pass the state exam. The broker license has the same rules but you must have had at least three years of experience as a real estate salesperson and pass a state approved 80 hour pre-license course plus pass the state exam.
Every 2 years you must complete a total of 10 hours of continuing education plus complete a 4 hour commission mandated core course and 6 hours of elective courses.
Because state policies can change without notice we recommend that you follow up with the state in which you wish to receive your license in and verify all of the state rules, regulations and educational requirements.
