Colorado Real Estate Associate Broker License
You do not need previous licensure or experience. A total of 168 hours of approved real estate courses are required to receive your license. If you have previous experience in real estate or were an agent from another state the state will help you decide how many hours you need. Once you are done with your course work you will need to take the state required exam and receive a passing score.
Real Estate Independent Brokers License
You will need to have 2 years of active experience to get this license. If you already have an Associate Broker License in Colorado then you are not required to take any additional classes. You can just take and pass the state exam to qualify for the license.
