This distance learning course is designed for students with no previous electronics experience and provides them with a solid core of instruction in electronics technology. Start with the basics of electronics and then move on to more advanced topics that include: AC and DC circuit theory, Identifying components, Printed circuit boards, Relays, Robots, Regulated power supplies, Troubleshooting digital systems & more! This course contains self-paced lessons with over 200 hands-on training experiments using CIE's Personal Training Lab & Multimeter. Created specifically for the distance learning student, experience a step-by-step method of learning that allows you to complete each lesson at your own pace when it's convenient for you! All the textbooks, lab equipment and instructor support are included with tuition. Our instruction staff works directly with you one-on-one to answer your questions & help with technical assistance if needed.

Once you are taught the basics you’ll move into more advanced topics and start studying AC and DC circuit, relays, robots and regulated power. In this program you’ll receive 93 lessons with hands-on training experiments. You’ll receive a study guide on how to prepare for the associate level certified electronics technician exam, better known as the CET exam.
