Vermont Real Estate Salesperson License
It is a requirement that you are 18 years of age or older and you need to be sponsored by an active Vermont broker. You will need to take and pass the state exam.
Real Estate Broker License
You must be 18 years of age and have successfully completed at least 8 hours of approved course from an approved school. You must be an active salesperson for 1 full year and show proof of listing or have sold 6 transactions during the year. You will also need to pass the state exam.
Your real estate license is good for 2 years. All brokers need to complete at least 12 hours of continuing education courses during the 2 year period prior to the renewal and salesperson licensees need to complete 8 hours.
