Alaska Salesperson license requirements
A person wishing to get a real estate license in Alaska must: pass the appropriate exam, not be under indictment for forgery, theft, extortion, conspiracy to defraud, apply for licensure within six months after passing the exam, pay the appropriate fees and meet all the educational requirements that is required by the state of Alaska.
A salesperson must be 19 years of age or order and complete 20 hours of classroom hours by an approved pre-license educator.
Alaska Broker license requirements
A person wishing to become a broker in Alaska must: pass the appropriate exam, not be under indictment for forgery, theft, extortion or conspiracy to defraud (just like the requirements for salesperson), apply for your license within 6 months after passing the state exam, pay all fees and meet the below educational requirements.
To become a broker you must complete 15 hours of broker training by an approved school. You also must complete 24 consecutive months within the last 36 months as a licensed salesperson. Real estate must be your principal occupation or you must own your own real estate business or work as a broker for a corporation.
